Web UI video unable to play on galaxy s9 plus

Just purchased a galaxy s9 plus and when I try to play video from the Web interface nothing comes through. Working perfectly when i play from my windows 10 laptop and girlfriends iPhone 8. Was wondering if anyone else was having this issue?

This is what the log is showing…

2018/04/22 16:02:37 [HLS] Starting transcoder for channel 10.1 from 192.168.1.1 (encoder=h264_mf, resolution=720, deinterlacer=linear, bitrate=6000)
[h264_mf @ 0000000004cddb80] stream format change

Can you try changing the DVR to Software transcoder and see if it makes any difference?

just gave it a try and still nothing. weird but if i hit the cast button it sends the audio to my google home and that plays fine.

Does the video on this test page work: https://video-dev.github.io/hls.js/demo/

no thats not working either. anyway i can open the link in a media player like vlc on the phone? assuming this is now an issue with the phone? Thank you for your help really appreciate it!

is says your browser dosnt support mediasource extension/ mp4 mediasource

If i copy the link into vlc it works, just many extra steps

would this have anything to do with it?

Don’t think so. Can you copy/paste the exact error message shown on the demo video page?

Im not sure what happened but the demo page is now working but this is the error i get on the channels webpage.

I get the same thing. The big buck bunny video works but not streaming channels
