WebDAV support

Please add webdav support. Started using Infuse again and setup webdav over https to my Synology instead of dealing with SMB or mounted drives that can unmount, and it's been a great improvement both in the lan and wan.

works great away from home with infuse, simply add your library via a secure url you setup, like the OP was trying to do. noticeable speed increase also.

I would love to change my Channels Personal media sources from SMB to WebDAV.

If you are truly driven to use a WebDAV source, you can mount in via your OS's native methods, and then point Channels to the local mount point/directory.

The way that the DVR works is not conducive to using WebDAV and would be less efficient. It is unlikely we will ever provide a way to use it as a source.
