Submitted another one while on live TV against a cable source, which is the polar opposite of my original Diags post (1st was a recorded ATSC3 session)
I'm openly wondering if my M1 mac mini (which was repaired by apple after a lightning strike) may be at fault here.
One thing that's been annoying me - upgrades seem to be interacting with the NIC/mac badly, as in it makes the mac inaccessible for a time, even from VNC. The log shows this (note the bolded time jump - this should be nearly instantaneous):

No, I don't think this was your issue. It looks like your was due to a problem in handling of corrupted ATSC3 signals.
Thanks, but only the 1st case was ATSC3. Live cable watching was 2nd case
