Weird Thing Last Night

I tried to watch the Saints game last night being broadcast on my local station in New Orleans, WVUE. In the guide, it showed nothing but black space making it impossible to tune into the game. I tried Direct TV Stream also and it did not even list the station, I did find it on Sling but it was being broadcast in 480 SD for some reason. I tried updating the guide on the server side, but this did not solve it either. The game lasted longer than they anticipated and it crept into the post-game show (which was listed on the guide) where I was able to watch it on channels. I watched most of the game using an m3u.

Any idea why this happened?

Maybe it was blacked out on purpose by the channel? From what I have heard that is fairly common to do in the city where the team is located.

They don't do this for pre-season games. Actually, it's the locals that usually carry it along with NFL Network.

Not blacked out - I was able to watch the local channel via iptv
