I tried searching but couldn't find a clear answer. My HOA is about to implement a bulk cable package. The TVE details are still TBD but they did say we can watch a max of 2 concurrent streams, and for more than that we would need to pay. I have access to another TVE service but I don't want to use it if I don't need to, so I don't want it to be the top of my source priority list. I checked and some nights I have up to 4 concurrent recordings. If the stream limit of 2 is reached will Channels fall over to the next TVE source, or will the recordings just fail? I still have until January to work this out, just trying to plan ahead.

My hunch is that the stream limit will only be enforced when using the cable company's app directly. And that TVE streams in Channels DVR will be unlimited. Just a hunch though! Others can confirm...
I hope that’s the case.
In almost all cases, streams accessed via TVE don’t have any concurrent stream limits.
