New to channels and fairly new to hdhomerun. I am running channels in surface pro3 i5 8GB RAM, Netgear R6300 router, hdhomerun quatro, roughly 30mbs down. I just hardwired it but that also means my surface I don't use much is stuck in my laundry room with router/modem. I have a NAS but not compatible with channels.
Thinking about purchasing a new NAS that is compatible and upgrading router.
I am trying to play SD content and some hd content via cable to hdhomerun. I am streaming mostly to firstick 4k but occasionally to iPad pro and older firestick.
