When Pass sets Queued for a show?

I am confused by my pass behavior and when and how it sets Queued for recording. I have latest Channels server running on Synology. I have bunch of passes, some for news which are daily and some for shows which are weekly. I have two weeks of guide in Channels. All seems to OK and even works fine, but:
Daily news seem to be queued for only 2 days ahead. They are seen as matches by Pass for whole 2 weeks, but not queued for more than 2 days ahead.
Weekly shows seem to be set for next one or two airings.
If I pause pass and unpause pass, at unpause pass it shows briefly that it queued may be 5 recordings, but after doing pause/unpause for the next pass, it resets the prior pass back to only 2 days queued.
This is very confusing and members of family are worried, that something is wrong. Basically, one cannot trust the Schedule web page (../admin/dvr/jobs) beyond next day or two.
I have not found description of logic in FAQ or elsewhere. Is this correct behavior and what is the logic here?

Recordings are based on unique program identifiers. The guide data may not be updated by our provider more than a few days ahead for those news programs.
