Where to offer suggestions?

A feature I like in Roku is to turn on closed captions on replay

I usually don't want closed captions because it's intrusive and unnecessary. Enabling them for a replayed segment is useful. One of the reasons I do that is because I didn't understand the dialogue.

If I recall correctly, Roku does it only on instant replay (the circular back arrow), not on rewind. Channels could associate it with clicking the left arrow on the click pad outer ring, but not with holding it down. Captions should end when you get back to me content.

I suspect this would not be difficult to implement.

Please direct me to the appropriate channel for suggestions, if not here.

Also Channels don't support Roku so good luck swaying the devs to pony up money for Roku support

I'm suggesting a useful feature. That it came from Roku is really irrelevant.

You can remove CC or output to a SRT file using Tdarr or Fileflows. This isn't something that the devs need to implement (nor does it make sense to)

OP is talking about turning on captions (briefly) after rewinding something they're currently watching. That allows them to see the captions to better understand what was said, then turn them back off once the stream is back to live.

I believe this is something Apple TV has available by default in their standard player now.

Now that you made it clear to me, that probably makes sense for a client setting.
