Why can't I add this channel to a Channel Collection?

I've successfully created 13 Channel Categories, based on genre, and each has 10 or more channels. This has been working fine for months and I really appreciate it!

Today I'm trying to add channel 11861 (Loop Music Videos) to my "Music" channel category, and I can't find channel 11861 in the list. All of the 11800's are missing from the channel picker. I see these channels appear in sources, and in the guide, and can tune to them and watch via the "All" category. I haven't done anything different or hidden any of these channels. So what is the explanation for me not being able to pick one of them, to assign to a channel category? I haven't ever experienced this before.

Cant add channels to Collection 2

I assume this is some M3U? Does the m3u file have channel-id tags?

Yes, it's an M3U. I just checked, and there aren't "channel-id" tags in this M3U, but I don't have channel-id tags in another custom M3U, and that one is working fine. Also, what's odd is that I am able to add other channels from this same M3U, formatted the same way (for example, 11959 for Yahoo Finance, and 11962 for pocket.watch) to Channel Categories. It's just the ones from the 11800's, including Loop Music videos on 11861, that I can't add.

Just because it seemed to work for streams without channel-id, it does not change the fact that the channel-id tag is required. It's right there in the documentation, that the tag is required.

When things are being done in unsupported ways, odd and less-than-optimal behavior is to be expected.

OK, I understand. This particular M3U has "tvg-id" tags but not "channel-id" tags.

I'm still learning. Thanks for the explanation.

I'm running into the same issue. Can I just modify the m3u to have channel IDs and use a local copy?

I'm uploading a new build now with improvements. After upgrading, any newly added m3us should behave correctly.

Just updated to the latest build, removed and re-added this recent M3U, and now it's working perfectly. I'm able to add those 118xx channels now to Channel Collections. Thanks so much for such a quick fix. You seriously rock! Have a great weekend.
