Anyone have any insight as to why I cannot get a season pass for "The Simpsons" to work? It worked fine for years, then last December, it conked out, after recording the first few episodes of that season... unfortunately, I didn't notice it was on the fritz until.... well, lockdown, when I had time to watch "The Simpsons." I missed most of the season. Anyway, same thing this season: got Episode 1, then nothing. I've been having to remember to manually comb the program guide to get recordings. I've deleted the series pass, I've tried adding custom filters (specific channel, "New" only, "all episodes" on that channel, etc - all sorts of different combinations) and it still shows NO upcoming recordings. And yet I can manually go through the program guide and find "NEW" labeled episodes (Sunday Night, Fox, etc) - but the pass doesn't pick them up. Any thoughts here?
Guide data issues? S32E11 should be the next new episode, S32E05 and S32E09 are old.
What does your Season Pass look like?
I only see three on FOX marked as new.
Mine looks exactly the same - same SeriesID number, etc.... but the pass doesn't think there are any to record. I've manually added the 3 upcoming episodes (as your post shows) - because the pass doesn't see them..... the guide does, of course, show them, but I have to manually queue them. Weird.
On the settings page you might try deleting and recreating the guide database. Maybe something got messed up there.
Season 32 episodes with OAD, including future episodes https://simpsons.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Episodes#Season_32_.282020.2F21.29
I'll give that a try.... might work. Though it crapped out last year; maybe there's some residual crud in there. I thought maybe the SeriesID might have changed when the series went on its December "hiatus" - but making a new series pass hasn't solved the problem.
Thanks for showing me all the episodes I've missed.
I've been scanning the syndicated episodes to back-fill the missing episodes.
