Why is only one channel from the same tower having signal problem

I've finally found a good spot for the antenna that gets decent reception for almost all of the channels as well as being in proximity from the coax outlet.

One problem is that the signal for one independent station is really iffy. Sometimes ok, but more often no signal at all.

The strange thing is that this station's transmitter - according to Antennas Direct | TV Transmitter Locator and Mapping Tool - is the same as for 5 other stations, which all have constantly strong signals.
It doesn't make sense.

What could be going on?

Use this tool https://www.rabbitears.info/searchmap.php at rabbitears (make sure Antenna Height Above Ground is accurate) and post a link to your results on the SD Forum https://forum.silicondust.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=113. They will be able to help you.

There is an issue right from the start. Rabbitears requires that the antenna sit at least 13 feet above the ground. Mine is an indoor antenna and sits barely 4 feet above the ground.

Could this be the problem?

Well, just put in 13 feet then.
It's asking for the elevation above ground level (the dirt outside your home) to be as accurate as it can be for the terrain path profiles.

Different stations broadcast at different frequencies (RF Channel, not the channel you see on your TV. RF Channel is sometimes called "Real Channel") and different power levels. Frequencies are divided into three groups, UHF, Low VHF, and High VHF. Most stations are UHF and antennas are tuned for them. If your station is High VHF, you may need a separate VHF antenna. If you are looking at Low VHF you are likely out of luck. UHF RF channels are 14 and up. Low VHF are 2-6, and High VHF are 7-13.
The real channel numbers can be found on sites like Rabbit Ears and Antennas Direct.

Rabbit Ears will show you field strength, which is a good indication of transmitter power when comparing stations on the same tower.

Could be many reasons.
They switched to an aux antenna at a different height or location, Co-channel interference, etc.
SD should be able to help.

What antenna are you using, specifically?

It’s a Mohu Arc.
