Does anyone know why when watching tv shows from the guide in the server(only) in browsers Chrome, and Firefox I would get errors in Chrome, and in Firefox it would just stop for no reason? When I use Opera browser I have None of these issues.
The web player has always been buggy, and is honestly not to be relied upon for regular viewing. Much better to implement VLC integration which always works.
Can you point us to the latest VLC integration, for a step by step.
Actually does the integration work from a Client, kinda like strmlink but the app being switched to is VLC

Go to DVR experimental settings and check the enable VLC integration box.
Then install the VLC extension for the browser. This will allow the VLC links that channels now provides to open in VLC directly.
Have no idea what works in Safari if you're on a Mac, but you can google Safari VLC protocol and see.
This is all for a PC, you can't put extensions in most mobile browsers. It's for the web player has nothing to do with existing channels clients.
