Checked into a hotel last night, and the desk clerk had to walk us to our room to let us in because the keycard system is down from this.
My understanding is that the fix for this is fairly straight-forward. But requires physical access to the affected devices. I’ll bet corporations are regretting firing their local IT staff and centralizing and outsourcing IT support.
