Windows Port forwarding on new server build

Greetings,

I moved to a new windows PC in the same house and connection. I have my Plex server working remotely but I am struggling with Channels. I don't believe it is the router as it worked before. I checked firewall permission's and Channels has access. Here is the error I am getting.

Remote Access

Could not connect to 4751020423fa.channelsdvr.net. Check if the port is mapped.

Any suggestions.

Thanks Gordy

Does portchecker.co show 8089 as open?

No, How can I open it?

Set the dvr to Manual mode. Login to your router and add a port forward for TCP 8089 with the IP of your PC.

See https://getchannels.com/docs/articles/cant-connect-remotely/

I get the follow message.

The specified port(s) are being used by other configurations. Please check your configurations of USB Readyshare, Remote Management, Port forwarding, Port Triggering, UPnP Port Mapping table, RIP, and Internet connection type

Also, as it was working before on the same network I am wondering why it doesn't now?
Thank you.

Did you run the installer again on the old PC and uninstall?

You may need to reboot the router if it thinks the port is still in use.

The new computer using the same IP address of the old computer. If its different then you need to delete the old service port 8089 , may require a reboot, then create a new service port 8089 with the new IP address.

I started up the old computer to uninstall channels but the drive it was on is in the new computer. I shut down both computers and restarted my router. Restarted the new computer and started channels. I changed port forwarding back to automatic and it started right up. Best guess is the router needed a restart??
Thank you all so much for the support. What a great community and product!
