Trying to understand why the Local Streaming option takes so long to completely startup a video on my clients. It takes anywhere from about 6 seconds to 10 seconds before it is completely playing depending on the content. I have been testing this on my Firestick 4k max and my Android phone with similar results. Seems like the server should have plenty of data to send, but it holds for a long time.
Here is the network performance graph on my server while using a Firestick 4k max client set to Original Stream during startup of a TVE channel. The client is not able to completely start the stream until the second chunk of data is sent. Each horizontal division represents 3 seconds.
Now I am still using Original Stream, but starting a OTA channel. It took about 6 seconds to completely start the video, not until the second chunk of data is sent.
Here I am using Original Direct, starting a TVE channel. The video is completely playing in 2 or 3 seconds. Really quick which is great. The receive and send are nearly identical.
Here I am using Original Direct, starting an OTA channel. The video is completely playing in about 1 to 2 seconds which is very good. Again the receive and send are nearly identical.
