If I have my HDHR Prime and DVR drive hardwired to my network, but my AppleTV units running on WiFi, will they have any issues "seeing" each other. I presume no, but am not 100% sure. Thanks for the feedback!
There is always the possibility as wireless is not as reliable as wired. I also setup my DVR and and HDHRs all set with a static IP so they never change.
There are a lot of variables, including the make/model of the WiFi router. You won't know if it'll work well until you try.
That being said, I have 3 Amazon Fire Sticks connected wirelessly to my network, and my Mac Mini running the Channels DVR is connected via Gigabit Ethernet. Everything works flawlessly. (I do highly recommend all of your wired networking gear be Gigabit speed)
My router is a fairly recent Netgear AC1700 model.
