Wits End…

I’ve been a Channels DVR user for 4 years and I’m at my wits end. YouTube TV gives me no login form found when added as a source, so I set up a Chrome Capture for Channels. That worked for a while but ran into the issue, like others, where I can’t login because the site isn’t secure. I’ve tried all of those suggestions on the playground CC4C page working on it for hours last night.

I switched the Hulu Live and when I try to add as a source to TVE, like YouTube, I get no login form found.

I switched to DIRECTV and like YouTube and Hulu, when I try to add a source I get no login form found.

I’ve updated to the latest pre-release.

I have local channels through HD Homerun, but want the cable channels, and have my library full of movies in Channels. I love all of that, and if I can’t add sources, I might need to just transition to a streaming service - which I really don’t want to do.

Any suggestions? And, if I’m asked to submit diagnostics, please refresh my memory on how to do that.

Why wait? Just re-do the actions you described above and then submit diagnostics with a detailed description. That way, the devs can see in your logs exactly what went on when it happened. Here's how:

This help article also shows similar info:

YTTV and less often Hulu Live TV, seem to be the top issue prone TVE services. They really like to roce you into 2FA and other things.

Have your tried Philo? I have used it for man years, and only had 1 time it had authentication issues.
I hear Fubo is also pretty good.

I switched to Fubo from HULU mainly to take advantage of their "roaming" profiles (basically I can run a separate instance at a family home in NC without having to pay for a second subscription). It's a little bit more, but worth if for me because I was able to cancel my mom's YTTV account for the NC house.

Also, the FuboTV Project helps to bridge some of the gaps that have popped up for all TVE users (FOX, NBC, SyFy, USA, Nick Jr., FS1,etc) thus so long as Fubo doesn't make drastic changes that breaks things, I've found my service solution.

Appreciate it, I have submitted the logs. Thanks!

I disabled 2FA on Youtube and it worked for over a year until recently. I had Philo in conjunction with Spectrum Choice - Philo didn't have TCM, TBS, TNT, etc. - so got that through Spectrum Choice until those channels were made available on Youtube TV and Hulu.

FWIW, I submitted diagnostics and Eric asked if I was running Synology DSM6, which I am. He said that recent improvements to Chrome have issues with DSM6, which is due for sunset. I’m not that up to speed on Synology, or NAS in general, and only started using about 2 years ago. I am traveling through next week and plan to do the update but wanted to post in case anyone else had issues. Thanks to all!
