Won't renew if Channels becomes a haven for pirate IPTV

Let's start by stopping discussions

You mentioned the demonetizing of Kodi or some such on YouTube. I was merely extending the metaphor to give another example of your false equivalency using a similar real-life example.

You also implied that I gave directions on using illegal content, which is a bit of a stretch. I merely pointed to the documentation for an existing feature of Channels.

If you have problems paying for software that could be used by some to violate copyrights of others, then that is your prerogative. However, I believe you are conflating ability with approval. In any case, I'm now muting this thread.

You are pretty naive if you think pirate tv sites are non existent

Thanks for proving my point

@Richard_smith You're basically locking yourself into a cable or OTT provider, with this stance. Any of the major players in this space (hell, even Google, for crying out loud), which aggregate multiple sources, can be caught by your concern.

Channels has far more 100% legitimate options than most, though, with integration of OTA and the SiliconDust options, as well as TVE. It's "cleanest" in my mind, for that reason.

And I'm all for that but helping people here set up Pirate sites shouldn't be one of them

I’m closing this thread as it’s providing zero benefit to the forums and is a bit dramatic for our community.

Anyone can use any means to determine if they want to subscribe. But there’s no real reason to discuss their personal feelings on their decision on the message board. It’s really a useless use of the community.
