I'm on holiday this week and have been using the web player to watch TV in the evening. More often than not when playing back recordings, the audio description track gets selected instead of the normal audio track so I hear a description of what's happening on screen in addition to the normal audio. Is there a way to select the audio track in the web player or at the very least get it to use the normal audio track? I'm curious why this happens because the tvOS/iOS clients always select the right track, it's just the web player that gets it wrong.
Can you list which DVR version you are using, which web browser, and which version of the web browser? Are they all up-to-date?
DVR is 2021.08.17.2256 on Edge 92.0.902.67 on macOS 11.5.1, though this issue is present across different browsers and OSes. DVR is using hardware transcoding, and I'm in the UK so I wonder if there's some track selection logic that might need to be tweaked.
I'm experiencing this same issue.
Server 2021.09.18.0311. I tried in Chrome and Edge. My channels apps don't have this issue.

Pick a recording that has the issue and open it in MediaInfo using text mode, then copy and paste what it displays in a post here.

I'm pretty sure the web player won't play ATSC 3.0 broadcasts with AC-4 audio, unless I missed a post somewhere. I thought that required ffmpeg transcoding.
They should play in the client apps. If you're having a problem selecting the English audio stream in a Channels client, which one?
