Did Xfinity change anything recently?
I can’t successfully add anymore.
I do not have two step authentication selected.
I also created a second login.
I confirmed my login works on xfinity.com
I keep getting a “context cancelled” error.
I’ve restarted DVR, I’ve updated to latest version, etc

Hmm, it's working for me on both Channels & through xfinity stream app.
It is working for me never had a problem authorizing to xfinity.
Thats whats so odd. I can login to xfinity app and stream with no issues - but cannot connect to channels.
Some channels (ESPNs) were not working last night and individual scanning didn't work. So, I logged out - and now I can't xfinity to log back in.
Create another user just for channels and never use it anywhere else.
Try rebooting your shield
I did both.
-I restarted Shield first thing this morning.
-I created new login about an hour ago, still same issue.
I will try restarting Shield again when I get home. Perhaps it needs to be restarted after creating the new login. Thanks for the help.
wont let me log into my xfinity says no subscription when i am logged into xfinity stream and can watch things
"No subscription" means you need to login to your internet-only xfinity account and then turn off Auto Authentication.
I tried restarting Shield a few times - no help.
Unique login for channels
Restarted Shield multiple times
No two point authentication
Xfinity site and xfinity stream working fine

What model SHIELD?
Pretty sure it’s the original one, 07, with the smaller hard drive. (It’s so faded I can’t read it). Says Model number P2571.
Running most recent update.
Thing is, Xfinity was working fine for months - and worked fine as of last week.
DirecTV and Spectrum are working fine.
Still unable to login with Xfinity. Any other thoughts?
Would uninstalling and reinstalling the DVR Server app on the Shield perhaps help? I'd hate to have to reset everything, but at this point I'm not sure what else to do.

We need the exact error message, logs and a screenshot of the failure to investigate. Otherwise all we can do is guess.
Used username to login? Don't use email address to login
I just use the login username, not email. It was working fine until just the other day.
I will try to send logs, etc when I get home tonight.

Maybe the internet only Xfinity accounts don't have the same TVE authorization? Possibly it worked before but at some point Xfinity changed settings.
XFINITY and TVE is working just fine. I have never had a problem with it. I simply created an account just to be used for TVE. It works both on my ShieldTV and Synology.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the DVR Server App on my Shield. Now I have the most recent sable version, no longer the BETA - same issue.

This was working fine (and had been for months) until I noticed a few days ago.
It's an actual Xfinity cable account login, not just a streaming login.
I am just wondering if Xfinity changed something with their TVE.
-OTA, DirecTV and Spectrum working just fine
-created secondary login just for Channels (tried both)
-had most recent Channels BETA, reinstalled and now have most recent stable version
-running Nvidia Shield with most recent update
(Please understand, I'm not complaining - just trying to give as much info as I can).
