Xfinity TVE auth failing - Win 11 server

I previously posted in this thread, about Xfinity TVE is failing to authorize for me. Making this new thread, since it does not appear to be related to that thread, of a cookie pop up interfering. There is no such pop up.

Xfinity TVE will not authorize on my Windows 11 based server. (It works fine on a older Linux based CDVR server)
Server:
2024.07.30.0017
Chrome: 127.0.6533.73

Error in logs when i try to re-scan a single channel:

TVE error screen shot: (username covered up)

I can log into the networks website stream with the same Xfinity credentials fine. Even in Chrome on the server machine.

I have tried the "update password" option for Xfinity TVE. Did not affect this.

Philo TVE works fine.

Troubleshooter shows all green.

Logs submitted (a couple time in other thread) but have done so again.

Anything? :face_with_monocle:

Not sure what we can do. The same code works for other users and on your other computers?

I only have one other server, an older Linux based one, with older Chrome on it.
That is still working, for now.

But I can not get any Windows based CDVR server to auth Xfinity.
(i tried one in a Win 10 VM, and on my Win 11 laptop, get same errors)

I have whitelisted each computer from my Adguard Home DNS, and even manually set each unit to use ISP DNS, or Google. No change. So, i do not think it is a network or DNS issue.

Again, using Chrome itself, on Windows, i can log into Disney, Nat Geo, TBS, etc live tv stream on the network site fine.

Not sure what is up. But it happened the same time as when a few others posted in that other thread that Xfinity also stopped working for them. But the server updates since then, have not resolved the issue for me and my Windows system.

Well, seeing as no one else seems to be complaining about issues with Xfinity TVE.... I guess it is only me that is having an issue.

If you have looked at my logs, and such.... and are saying, you can not find anything to fix or further troubleshoot...

I guess i'm SOL. :skull_and_crossbones:

Until a resolution is found, if ever, for now, i am just going to use the other DVR server as a .m3u source custom channel for those Xfinity TVE channels on my main Windows server.

That is how I run it I only have 1 DVR running TVE feeding the others using GraceNote id's...On the DVR with TVE I have the below checked ...

image

http://192.168.50.162:8089/devices/TVE-Comcast_SSO/channels.m3u?format=ts&gracenote=include

action=error_response type=Stylesheet error=net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_ORB url=https://content.xfinity.com/securelogin/cima ip=********

I have to wonder what this "Blocked by ORB" means...

And the IP listed there is not my pubic IP address, but of a data center in Chicago, maybe is the DNS server that the request is coming from?

EDIT: This comes up in search

I have not even opened Chrome on the Server machine until after I noticed this TVE issue. So Chrome itself is on default settings. And, if Chrome was blocking something, then i would have seen it do that, when i tried to log into the same networks as CDVR is doing.
THough that exact url, content.xfinity.com, give me a page that just says "Blocked by Policy" in any browser.

I am having similar issue with xfinity, just started tonight. I removed and tried re-adding as a source but when I provide my credentials I see this in the logs:

I am on Windows 10 and using latest pre-release server. My credentials work on all the individual channel websites as well as the login.xfinity.com site. Did you ever resolve your issue?

OP's error is specific to pages not fully loading.

For example some assets like JS time out:

You need to pull up the screenshot and see what it shows

Got it, thanks for the quick reply! The screenshot it showed was an Xfinity login page without any credentials filled in. I didn't realize that was specifically what my browser was seeing, otherwise I would have screen captured it.

Tried adding the Xfinity source again this morning and it worked fine, so next time I think I need to give it a day to see if it resolves on its own before raising it here. Thanks again for the support.
