http://login.xfinity.com/login works fine, lets me log in on a laptop on the same LAN as the CDVR server on a Syno.

I was getting that error last month using the Channels DVR Server Synology package install.

After replacing the Synology package with the fancybits/channels-dvr:tve docker container, it started working.

Okay, I may have to give that a try then. Did you remember if you had the same runtime exceptions in your logs?

Spun up a test docker container of the fancybits tve image and I see the same error as on the synology instance.

I'm able to access the xfinity login on my phone on the same LAN segment and authorize with NBC so I don't think there's a problem with the source IP address.

You could always try submitting diagnostics.

I did, the first line of the OP has the identifier string.

But it's moot now, received a flood of Xfinity "New login from an unknown IP" emails and then authentication started to work again and I was able to tune to various TVE channels again.
