IIRC, the hdhomerun does an auto-rescan in the background every three days.

Can confirm that SD does do an auto scan every 2-3 days. Personally, I would rather they didn’t as this re-scan also affects Channels line-up.
As I will still have to use SDDVR (for DRM channels only, as we are absolutely not dropping Channels for majority of our requirements)…if they “ever” conquer the DRM recording roadblock, I would really like to see an option on Channels to ignore this rescan.
Currently, I cannot list “authorized channels” on SD lineup without affecting Channels lineup. For future use, my preference for an SD lineup is to authorize only “DRM” channels…thereby assisting in filtering to just shows/movies to those broadcast on DRM channels…doubt new SD UI will accomodate this requirement. However, my Channels lineup (favorite/all) needs to contain authorization of all of the non-DRM broadcast channels.
Almost dreading the addition of DRM recording on SD as my only option to request new recordings now will be to page through 1000’s movies/shows (daily?) to determine what to record on SD (DRM only). To further complicate this process, there is no “sort” order on SD’s listings to be able to “pick-up” at end of yesterday’s list when reviewing. Channels and Plex is chrono so it’s easy, but no DRM on either.
