YouTube TV and 2FA

When I originally added YouTube TV to channels via TV anywhere, I temporarily disabled 2FA and then re-enabled it after adding it to channels. Everything seems to work with one exception, a few times a week I get push notifications, asking me to confirm access to my YouTube account from channels. Does 2FA need to remain disabled, and if so, is this a security concern I should be worried about?

I have an alt-account on YouTube I post Quake (game) videos to. I found if I am connected to my VPN, it asks me to verify my access. If I turn the VPN off, it doesn't.

Perhaps this is happening there?

NOTE: that if you have 2FA enabled on your Google account, you will not be able to use it with Channels DVR. You can create a secondary family account login and use that instead: Create & manage a shared YouTube TV membership, or family group - YouTube TV Help

Thank you for the confirmation. I went ahead and disabled two-step verification on my Google account and hopefully that will stop these security push alerts I’ve been getting. Thanks again!
