Would be nice to record Gold Zone or some other Olympic stuff.
Maybe there is a script to get m3u links from Peacock instead?
Haven't tried it, but probably your best bet (or ahc):
Unfortunately it's DRM so EPlusTV or other M3U scrapers wont work as far as I can tell.
Nope because DRM.
You would have to use a HDMI encoder to get that
Never heard about ADB Tuner, can you elaborate more?
DRM is no problem - if you are able to watch in browser you are able to watch it in any other app. Perhaps with the exception of Videwine that stores key somewhere inside browser. Otherwise someone who can focus attention more than me can analyze handshaking protocols.
Usually url for m3u8 playlist can have some string that is generated using having user password.
if not Peacock anyone tried CBC?
I have several of the linear Peacock channels set up through an HDMI encoder and ADBTuner.
Unfortunately, the Olympics coverage Peacock offers is not through linear channels. Peacock is showing these as "Events", which are closer to being on demand. I haven't found a way to bring the Peacock's live event programming into Channels DVR.
I have been able to record Olympic coverage with my DirecTV subscription and the ADBTuner setup.
You can record the Peacock stuff using fruitdeeplinks/adbtuner. The multiple lanes will help on that front (you may have to have a lot of lanes set up but it'll do)
The FruitDeepLinks project works like Chrome Capture for Channels and brings in the Peacock live events.
@Jean0987654321, you beat me to it!
@Jean0987654321 and @daldana7296 , I had been wondering about FruitDeepLinks. I'll have to give that another look. Is there a "for dummies" set of instructions for getting it set up to work along with ADBTuner? It all seemed rather complicated for my simple little mind...
@bnhf has Olivetin on hand so all you have to is set up the amount of lanes in the fruitdeeplinks settings and use project oneclick and you're done
Thanks. I'm giving that a try right now. We'll see how far I can get...
EDIT: I did it! It's working!
Any chance you are within the range of a NBC TV station using an antenna? This plus a HDHomeRun tuna works fabulously
Only way to get all your content from YouTube TV into Channels DVR is via something like ADBTuner and HDMI -> Network encoders. I use those and it's great, but I know the solution is not cheap (well.. let's be honest, it's like 3 months of YouTube TV.. so maybe not THAT much), but it's amazing
