I was able to get a family slot and use a new account with no ties to any phones or anything else to verify from. Looks like it is working OK.

Thanks for the help and comments. I know this solution was discussed on this and other threads here. Was trying to avoid the extra account thing, but all is well.

I managed to use YTTV account with Channels even with 2FA using passkey stored in Passwords app.

I tried a new family user with no MFA / 2FA and it still is failing. What am I doing wrong?

This is what I found that worked for me. I have a Synology NAS with Channels.

This fixed it for me:

I did not have to create a new YTTV account, just a new family account with a PW without special characters or MFA / 2FA.

I'm using a google workspace account so I can't make a second account without cancelling, starting a new subscription from a new user, and then expanding from there.

I'm using a Mac as my server and all I see is screenshot of the 2fa request. Is there no way to opt to just manually validate these in Chrome running in the Mac interface? Or some other workaround other than cancelling my YouTube TV subscription?
