Youtube TV Discovery Channel login failure

On July 4th the Discovery Channel associated channels started to fail, rescanning fails with an authentication error.

Authentication Errors with Discovery Channels

HGTV stopped working. We use YouTube TV for TV Everywhere. I rescanned the channels and all the Discovery Channels failed to authenticate. I tried authenticating for live TV at the HGTV website using my YouTube id/pw and it worked. Is there any way to fix? My DVR version is 2022.06.30.0107.

I need help adding YouTube TV to TV Everywhere! I have added YouTube TV to TVE in the past without any problem but am having No Luck trying to add it now! I keep getting a popup that says my browser may not be secure and to try another browser which I have done but still not able to signin! I have also used Vidgo and had no problem adding that to TVE. Would like to communicate with someone that has recently added YouTube TV to TVE! Thanks in advance!

@chDVRuser -- thanks much for this info. That is what I had tried yesterday (I use Firefox as well, but also tried with Safari and maybe Chrome). I did the "accept the risk" thing but then it just hung. I suppose it could be because I run NoScript and Ghostery in Firefox and block lots of stuff. UPDATE: just tried it again from another computer, and this time the https access worked. Didn't enable TVE authentication, though. But that's OK, I've given up on YTTV -- Hulu + Live will be it go…
