Youtube TV issues (Slow and record)

  1. YouTube TVE channels are very slow to open (20 seconds or more). Is this common behavior? Can it be improved?

  2. I thought that at one time I was able to record YouTube TV TVE. I am no longer able to record YouTube TV TVE. Is this normal behavior? Can I record YouTube TVE?

  1. TVE regardless of provider should tune in 5 seconds or less, occasionally it may take longer if it needs to authenticate the channel again. It should not consistently be taking 20 seconds.

  2. You should absolutely be able to record from TVE from any provider including YouTube tv.

Do you have guide data in the guide?
Try rebooting your server.
Do you get all green when running the troubleshooting check in the server web ui under support > troubleshooting?

I had both wired and wireless connection active.

  1. Disabled Wireless and all is better.
