Somehow the incorrect CBS station was in my lineup so I decided to rescan. BIG mistake. I lost most of the mainstream channels. I went from a little over 100 to 63 channels, most of which I would never watch.

Multiple rescans yielded confusing results - each time the result was a different number of channels, from 61 to 73. The 73 result was after I deleted and readded the source.

I then went into the list of TVE stations and tried to rescan them individually and 20 were successful, which were most of the channels I needed.

I even updated to the latest prerelease software.

Any thoughts?

This may be as simple as Internet congestion or a busy server. Try again at a less popular time of day. There may be information it the log that indicates why the channels are not being found.
