YouTube TV TVE Works Well, IPTV links Are Terrible

Hello, I've just installed Channels DVR on a Minisforum MS-01 With Windows 11 Pro. I've two sources: YouTube TV via TVE, and a source of IPTV links called customs. When I tune into ANY TVE channel, everything is great, recordings are great. When I tune into ANY IPTV link, either the picture starts then I get "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.", or it happens immediately. If the links are recorded, the links do work, but they are blurred or dropping frames throughout.

I've been using this setup for a few years to record college football games on the weekend, so I'm a little thrown by the issues here, as I've never had any trouble with Channels DVR before. Does this sound fixable to anyone?

If you are getting this using a browser try Firefox Google Chrome has some issue with it to

If you are using IPTV, sources can be unstable and change without notice.
I personally use an application to handle th elarge playlist and have my third party program feed links to channels.
IPTV commonly uses mpeg-ts.
Can you play th elinks in an iptv app?
internet service providers can block iptv services if requested.

Thanks

Thank you for your answers.

I tried it with Firefox, but it had no noticeable difference.

It's not a very long list really, it's seven channels found on the Github iptv.org stream list.

I've always used HLS, but I tried mpeg-ts and that format seemed even more unstable.

The links all work (though I just found two in need of update), it's what happens when it's either playing in the browser, or in VLC, or when I watch the recordings. I watch the games on Zoom Player, and the issue is in the file: dropped frames, blurring, stuttering. So not a failed link or blocked link, just bad quality.

Hi there,
The links that are being used are not stable. I had forgotten. The links are usually in HLS but they get taken down quite often.
