I am trying to add my YouTube TV subscription to my Channels DVR but I keep getting login failures. First it was "authentication error" (when i know the login info was right), now it's "you did not allow access".
Any ideas??
With the recent 2 factor authentication that youtube is moving everyone to. You have to accept each connection generally on a cell phone.
What others have done is created another youtube user and add that to your account as a family member. Remove all the two factor authentication options (email and phone) to make it so it isn't a recoverable account and allow a certain type of connection for a less secure connection. Their is more detailed information on this in the forums. It is also the reason why I moved on from YouTube. Just didn't want to deal with it anymore.
