I didn't see a thread for the questions recently so I thought I'd ask. Can someone tell me which gets better TVE support between YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV? Especially for locals. I can get YouTube TV through T-Mobile for $55 a month or I can get Hulu for $68.99 which is just live channels (no DVR or Hulu library). I'd prefer the cheaper option but I also want to get the most out of whichever service I pick.
Here's a tool on Channels DVR website that can check each one for you:
Thanks. This helps a lot!
I'm not familiar with the 2FA issue with YouTube TV. How do I get around it?
I've read some folks here say they create a new, seperate Google/YouTube account (linked by Family Sharing, so it shares the YouTube TV subscription) that has 2FA disabled, specifically for TVE/Channels DVR integration. There have been threads about it here.
That is probably the only reason I no longer have youtube tv even though I got it working. The 2FA stinks. Just think if you don't setup as above. Each time you change a channel you have to hit accept on your cell phone in order for the channel to show. Hence the two factor authentication
So that is why you have to make that workaround. Can you imagine if you missed a recording because you didn't hit accept. Ugggg is all I can say.
