Noticed that NBC is not working on our cabin house in Western NC. I went to NBC.com/Live and logged in and get the following message:
" UH-OH. YOU NEED TO ADD THIS CHANNEL.
Your TV subscription does not include this channel. Please contact your TV Provider about upgrading your service to get access."
Does this mean that the local NBC affiliate isn't allowing access to YTV or something else?

Just to add some context, the mountain house uses my mom's YTV account. I tried using my Hulu account and was able to watch NBC via the website. Seems like it's possibly a contract issue with YTV and local NBC affiliate?
I know in my area Rockford, IL I couldn't get it through NBC website either. Even talked with NBC support and they said it should be working. So I am not surprised you are having issues. They also use your login location for geo information which could also be blocking you. I had to send them that too. Hulu app probably uses your account information instead of geo location. Where web logins can happen from anywhere.
