I just found a replacement that seems to work (at least for now):
https://tvlistings.gracenote.com/grid-affiliates.html
Nice find!
Maybe they're still working on the site.
Clicking on Search results doesn't work and it doesn't provide info on Series or Movies.
Both result in a page not found error.
At least the schedules work.
Looks like that site is getting hammered - just spinning for me.
Was for me in Brave, but working in Firefox and Edge
Also try http
instead of https
. I'm finding it to be finicky in some situations!
Working for me, Windows 11, Firefox Google search. shows http:// etc
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/&ved=2ahUKEwih0bzMgamMAxU778kDHXhJD48QFnoECAsQAQ&usg=AOvVaw3cqmXMzaxusXq9toRewihr
Sure, a google search will give you a search result, but...
Both
http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/
and
https://tvlistings.zap2it.com/
get redirected to
https://www.newsnationnow.com/newsnation-tv-schedule/
But running that result from the Search DID show the normal zap2it interface and schedule of my selected Provider..... a few minutes ago.
Now it shows NewsNation!!!
Boooo!
Big problem.
I have used that to get tvc-guide-stationid
.
Just tried with Edge, Bing working there.
zap2it tv listings - Search
And this Bing link within Firefox goes to NewsNation.
Even so, CoPlot within Edge says
It seems that Zap2it has recently been discontinued and now redirects to NewsNation's TV listings. If you're looking for TV listings, you might want to explore alternative sources. Let me know if you'd like help finding one!
.....
Update: And now again a few inutes later, Edge Bing goes to NewsNation.... Gone Baby Gone.
The site @babsonnexus posted above will give you that.
Using your web browser with the right search phrase can get you that.
I also wrote a Windows command script to do it.
OliveTin for Channels can also do that.
Thanks to chDVRuser babsonnexus , I am aware of most of his excellent Projects, which I follow but have not used yet.
Using zap2it is so much easier, no using ports, scripts, etc etc, I like the KISS principle.
But thanks for your work and Projects and replies.
.
How about a little more on using web browser with search phrase, I guess like SCIHD
I tried using CoPilot and Chat but no help, they punt.
So much for AI.
Have you tried the url he posted? (I don't think you have, looks/works like zap2it)
Hell YES.
THANKS
You guys are so much better than AI.
Just tried, perfect, THANKS, I just overlooked that, shame on me.
I did also put out a hot patch a few hours ago for MTM to use the new website I posted above, too.
I just read that the other day.
I like this tho, so much easier, KISS principle.Thanks.
.
[Correction: Badly worded, I didn't find this, babsonnexus found this}
I just found a replacement that seems to work (at least for now):
https://tvlistings.gracenote.com/grid-affiliates.html
I had an issue with an incorrect start time on one of my Passes and was directed just the other day by a dev to submit the issue to Zap2it. I submitted it, but it has yet to be fixed on my end.
Does this mean I need to submit my issue somewhere else now?
Since Gracenote doesn't take feedback from us, zap2it was the only way to get their attention.
If the listings are incorrect on the TV station website, you could notify the TV station.
I never had any luck with feedback submissions to zap2it, but others have.
If you have an HDHomeRun tuner and their official HDHR app shows an incorrect start time, you could bring it up to SiliconDust at Guide Issues - Silicondust
They should be able to contact Gracenote about it.
