After losing pairing of my cable card a scan for channels always returns 0. The web interface on the HDHR Prime says everything is paired, locked, validated – as does my cable provider. Is there anything I can do inside the app to gain some insight into what is going on?
Find the IP of your HDHR, and check http://x.x.x.x/lineup.html?show=all
If all the channels are crossed out, that means the cable company needs to send an update to your CableCARD so it knows what channels you’re subscribed to.
Thanks. I did this and it shows 0 channels. If I click on the ‘Detect Channels’ button, it finds 0 channels.
Sounds like your cablecard isn’t paired correctly then. You might have better luck asking on the SiliconDust forums, as there are some cable techs that lurk around there and have a much better idea of how these things work.
