I live in the Buffalo NY area. Channel 2 WGRZ OTA keeps disappearing from my guide and I have to go into server and refresh the guide every few days to get it back. Big pain in the butt. Any suggestions on why this is happening and solution to solving it.
HDHR Tuners scan for channels in the background. If there is some reception issue when it runs a scan and can't tune that channel, it will remove it from the tuner.
SD says this is a convenience feature that most customers like and prefer. Personally I'm in the other camp and find this "feature" an annoyance and source of much trouble and chagrin in our household. If you don't like the feature, please let SD know so they know users wish it removed, or at least have the option to disable it.
