ACC Network

ACC Network is being added to many providers this afternoon, I already have the channel showing up after a channel scan. Will it be as simple as refreshing the guide data once the channel goes live?

Where is it showing up?

it hasn't launched yet, 7 hours to go. its going to be a linear channel and on watchespn.

I would really appreciate an add of this channel too since TiVo can't get their act together in my market and my HDHomeRun Prime can't pick up any SDV channels. The ACC Network should authenticate just like all the other ESPN networks from both Spectrum and DirecTV.

It shows up on my Prime channel scan but does not yet have a name. The channel itself is live but I am unable to find "ACCN" as an option to assign guide data.

The gracenote station ID is 111871

Once they start transmitting the callsign I assume SD will map guide data and you can pick it up by hitting circle refresh icon under your HDHR.

In the mean time you could use the custom mapping command with the above ID.

curl -XPUT --data '{"867":"111871"}' http://127.0.0.1:8089/dvr/guide/stations/USA-SC39506-X

Hopefully it will make it to TV Everywhere soon?

So the callsigns that show up under the Prime channel scan come from SD? I always assumed they were provided by the ISP.

The callsigns come from the cable provider, but SD uses them to match guide data and we use SD to import guide data matches.

You're the man! Thank you

FYI... Looks like available on Hulu Live and PS View but not on DTVN (which is now AT&T TV NOW - which you may want to update your Source Names since is now Live).

DIRECTV NOW:
notAuthorized: ACC Network and ACC Network Extra are currently not available with your TV provider. For a complete list of TV providers offering ACC Network and ACC Network Extra, check www.GetACCN.com. If you don’t see your TV provider listed, contact them to demand that they carry ACC Network and ACC Network Extra.

Its available in TVE for YouTube TV subscribers

How do I add the ACCN to Channels DVR? My cable feed is Verizon FiOS via a cable card and HDHR Prime.
I have tried

  • updating ChannelsDVR version to the latest available, and
  • updating the Guide data
but the ACCN does not appear in any channel lineup, either HD or SD.
    Suggestions?

I was able to get the channel added by deleting the source and re-adding the source.

Click the circle refresh icon under your HDHR

I tried that multiple times. That did not work. The ACCN channel does not appear in any channel list.

Does it show up on my.hdhomerun.com under Channel Lineup?

Initially not. But then I re-ran the Channel Detection and they now show up under my.hdhomerun.com as channels 329 and 829. However, after again updating HDHomeRun PRIME ( the circle refresh icon ), those channels still do not appear in my ChannelsDVR channel lineup (the pencil icon).
BTW, I notice that even after clicking on the version "check for update" button, it shows the latest version as 2019.08.15.2304, not the later version number you had posted earlier in this thread.

In the DVR web UI, click the gear icon in the HDHR area and then click Scan Network. After that click the circle icon under your HDHR.

The newer DVR pre-release is for TVE only. To update to pre-release you have to click and hold the button.
