ADB Tuner Confusion

I'm confused!

I'm watching a channel and getting poor reception - "Tuner reception problems".

In the Channel Collection the channel is set to pull from an ADB tuner.

When I check the ADB Tuner admin it shows that all tuners are available. None are in use.

When I check the video streams from the HDMI encoder all tuner show the Google TV home screen.

Where is the video stream I'm watching coming from.

This channel is also available via TVE and HDHomeRun, but I've double checked that the channel in the Channel Collection is pointing to the ADB source . Channel 7145,

Any thoughts?

Thanks for your help.

Looks like you have set your HD Homerun source priority higher than your ADB source on your client. Go to Settings, Manage sources, and adjust the priority.

Further investigation proved that the channel was originting from HDHomeRun.

What would cause it to connect to HDHomeRun when the channel guide clearly shows that the source should be ADB Tuner?

Still confused!

I did not know that there was a priority setting for sources. HDHomeRun was set higher that ADB Tuner and I have reset it.

But I've been using this config for many months and this has not happened before. I would know because this channel's reception is always poor via HDHomeRun.

Thanks for your help.

You can also block that channel on the HDHomeRun in the HR app

A channel collection doesn't contain a channel number.
It uses the channel-id or GuideNumber instead, depending on the source it was picked from.
