Not sure if I missed it but can you airplay channels iOS to an ATV 2 or 3? I didn’t see anything about airplay in the app store and that would be a great feature for those who have older ATV’s as well as the new one.

Normal AirPlay support requires the use of Apple’s system video player. Channels uses a custom video player due to the streams coming from the HDHomeRun being MPEG2. The system video player does not play MPEG2 natively. So there’s really nothing we can do about it. We would have totally supported it if it was possible.
You can airplay mirror with your phone, but it’s going to lower the quality a bit due to how mirroring works. It’s also going to hurt the battery a bit. But it IS possible. Try it out, your mileage may vary.
