I am running the Channels DVR app on Android TV devices. When I display the guide, only the channel numbers are displayed. No program information is displayed. When I access the Channel DVR from a Windows system, the program information is displayed in the guide.
the androidtv app does not respond to all server side changes well. I find myself force closing the app after I make changes or update the server.
a power cycle or reboot of the smart box works too if it's not built into the tv.
did the app ever show the guide or are you just getting started?

Last week all was working. In a second post, I noted that I was not able to connect to my Channel DVR server via the ipaddress:8089. I could only do so via the computername:8089. Now after rebooting one of my Android TV devices, the Channel DVR app cannot connect to the server. But that is another issue.
