Launch speed slow, about 20 sec.
I have the same issue after adding DVR functionality. ~10 seconds to launch. I agree that recordings in the top shelf is not necessary if slows launch time so significantly.
Launch speed should be much faster with v2.1.26 of the Apple TV app, now available in the App Store.
