AT&T TV TV Everywhere Login Failures

In the last couple of days, I've had major issues logging into TV Everywhere. Occasionally, I've been able to log in, but it never finishes loading all the channels, and logs me out. It was working fine at least 3 or 4 days ago.

Is anyone else having issues with this?

Try click-and-hold on the Check for Update button

It's says up to date:

2019.11.19.2312

Click and hold

I did exactly what you said to do the first time. I clicked and then HELD.

There was a little grey box that appeared, then it disappeared, and then it says "Up to date!"

What should be happening instead?

I just did it a THIRD time, and now it says it is downloading a new version. Do you know why it would take three attempts?

I do appreciate the quick reply. Right now it's hanging while trying to log into AT&T TV - I'll have to check back in tomorrow morning.

Thank you, again, though, for the replies.

Not sure why it didn't work. Does the Log tab show any errors?

Here's the relevant logged info:

Where it says EMAIL-ADDRESS it is my correct login email address that I use.

Also want to add - I've tried this in Safari, Chrome and Firefox, and it all gives me the same result.

What does it show on http://10.0.1.5:8089/providers/tve/error_screenshot.png

It's just a blank white image.

Is the QNAP OS up to date?

Yes - I'm running the latest firmware update.

Can you check the system activity and see what it says for RAM usage and CPU usage?

70% RAM usage - it's not doing much of anything else, so the CPU is at 8%. It's the same NAS I've been using for years without issue.

Also, everything else is working as far as Channels goes - all of the OTA channels are working fine, as before.

Out of curiosity, how would RAM and CPU usage affect logging into a service to authorize it?

And now, I was able to successfully login to AT&T TV, but now I can't stream any channels through them. This is happening regardless of the TVE channel I choose.

Here is the relevant error message:

2019/12/04 11:21:17 [ERR] Failed to start stream for ch6140: TVE: Get https://broadband.espn.com/espn3/auth/watchespn/startSession?SWID=8F860719-923B-4802-B6FF-301BBFDAA522&channel=espn1&partner=watchespn&platform=web&token=PHNpZ25hdHVyZUluZm8%2BRFhyMG4rMlZ4dE1zVEs5MFYrMmpqcS8rTGgzekNORTJCMUl0L3lxNFJXWXVlVFduRUV5Ym1zVkxaT0JKTkpnYUs0RVBsU2VTNjVlMURTR3FPRVVUMFo1UXVlR1B6Ym5teTVpYjdEY0hEZzZYWmlQYnlCV2xQbEZtM2grRGJyai9halBDa2pHVndaUmtzN2xaMCt5eHd2eGdIZ3lNQVBDZjZHRUpLQkt0bkZJPTxzaWduYXR1cmVJbmZvPjxhdXRoVG9rZW4%2BPHNlc3Npb25HVUlEPjIxYzY1ZmE3ZGYzOTk0ZDEzOTA5MThiMGRlNDM2OTgyPC9zZXNzaW9uR1VJRD48cmVxdWVzdG9ySUQ%2BRVNQTjwvcmVxdWVzdG9ySUQ%2BPHJlc291cmNlSUQ%2BZXNwbjE8L3Jlc291cmNlSUQ%2BPHR0bD40MjAwMDA8L3R0bD48aXNzdWVUaW1lPjIwMTktMTItMDQgMTE6MTg6MDMgLTA4MDA8L2lzc3VlVGltZT48bXZwZElkPkFUVE9UVDwvbXZwZElkPjwvYXV0aFRva2VuPg%3D%3D&tokenType=ADOBEPASS&v=2.0.0: net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)

I just tested my current bandwidth speed and I'm averaging 341 Mbps Down/22.8 Mbps Up.

Can you try rebooting the NAS?

Just rebooted, again - I had rebooted several times before today.

I'm getting the same exact error message as above about 'Failed to start stream'

Are you using any kind of vpn or proxy?

I am not using anything like that.

I had not changed anything software/hardware wise when this stopped working.

I’ve had the same errors for weeks while trying to add back in my Xfinity TVE channels. I’ve tried every suggestion there was so far to no avail.

It gets about half way through authenticating channels and then hangs and never finishes. It was working totally fine and then it seemed like one time when I loaded a new FW, it stopped letting it go all the way through. I am on the latest beta FW.
