BIG10 & FS1/FS2 - not entitled: mvpd: Resource is not supported by MVPD

I am getting this error when trying to authorize the BIG10 and FS1 / FS2 using Dish Network TVE. I know there have been issues with these channels in the past, but not sure what these new errors mean or how to fix them.

They have been working and are still part of my Dish Network plan, they just aren't authorizing in CDVR. Any ideas?

Did you go though the troubleshooting steps? TVE Troubleshooting tips

Thanks for the feedback, these are the only 2 items I haven't tried yet...

  1. Remove and re-add your source, then individually rescan any channels with issues.
  2. If all the above fails, submit DVR diagnostics from the DVR web UI Support>Troubleshooting.

I've seen other post this error, but not on Dish Network TVE, and I really didn't see a solution posted. Does anyone even know what this error means?

I get that error on these channels that aren't in my Xfinity TV package
6197 FS1 not entitled: mvpd: Resource is not supported by MVPD
6198 FS2 not entitled: mvpd: Resource is not supported by MVPD
6199 BTN not entitled: mvpd: Resource is not supported by MVPD
6200 DEPORTES not entitled: mvpd: Resource is not supported by MVPD
6201 FS-SOCCERPLUS not entitled: mvpd: Resource is not supported by MVPD

I've never see this MVPD error before. For channels that I don't get, I see the following error:

playback info: access.denied.missingpackage: DiscoveryLife

I confirmed I can login to FS1/Big Ten using my provider credentials. Is it possible these no longer work with TVE?

If you're running the latest pre-release version of Channels DVR and Support > Troubleshooting shows all green checkmarks, submit diagnostics.

I just rescanned BIG10 for grins and got this error. May be a Fox auth server issue.
foxsports checkauthn: GET: https://api3.fox.com/v2.0/checkadobeauthn/v2?adobeauth=false&device_id=<redacted>: 424 Failed Dependency: "{\"errorType\":\"Failed Dependency\",\"errorMessage\":\"AccountLogin Error: internal server error error (500)\"}\n"

Different channels respond with different messages for not in subscription. For example I get access.denied.missingpackage: DiscoveryLife for discovery life but I get 6197 FS1 not entitled: mvpd: Resource is not supported by MVPD for FS1 fs2 ect.

Why it thinks you don’t have fox sports in your subscription package I don’t know, but that is what the error message you’re getting is saying.

Fox sports website is broken.
Trying to login to Xfinity to watch BIG10 here doesn't show Xfinity as a provider
https://www.foxsports.com/provider/register?fu=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.foxsports.com%2F

And now it's working :man_shrugging:
In fact I'm able to watch all the Fox Sports channels (which I'm not subbed to).
And rescanning BIG10 in CDVR now is displaying the original error msg
6199 BTN not entitled: mvpd: Resource is not supported by MVPD

Hmmm, I can login there as well, but still doesn't change the error I am receiving.

I'm guessing it's the foxsports authentication servers, given it's only fox sports channels with issues.

Still having issues with Fox Sports and BIG10 Network. The MVPD error is gone, but it now shows:

foxsports adobeauth: no login form found

I just added YTTV and was able to get FS1, FS2 and BTN without errors.
But now when trying to play FS1 I get this error
[ERR] Failed to start stream for ch6197: TVE: foxsports matching item missing
FS2 and BTN play fine.

And today all three channels are working.
To me, that points to foxsports as being the issue, not Channels DVR.

Now I'm getting new errors:

@tmm1 Any ideas what the continued issue might be?

Strange error message EPGListing not found
I've seen that error before on a foxsports channel.
I still think it's a foxsports issue.

Not sure why nobody else is reporting an issue.

Also seeing an EPGListing not found error on a re-scan of FS1 this morning. Running DVR 2025.07.03.0419

And then I did a rescan two hours later: no error!

Rescan didn't work for me, but as @chDVRuser suggested, I deleted the source completely then re-added it. The FS1, FS2, and B10 network came back and is now working.
