There is no (SYS) shutting down for upgrade.

I can tell you it's still out for me too.
It's not a problem with Channels; Fox changed how their website works, so BTN is down for everyone through Channels.
Just to make sure- I tried another channel source that has BTN. No go as well. Right at the start of College Football.
Thankfully Fox Sports app works. Hopefully for you as well.
That's what I'm understanding as well. Hopefully there'll be an update that addresses the issue. Timing could not be worse.
Or not. Could be that they specifically changed things to make it more difficult to capture streams from their website ...
