Yeah that release to not re-record Skipped or canceled is causing more problems than it helps .. I had to delete all skipped and canceled entries in programs in order to be able to record them even though my passes say to re-record deleted and all.

During NBA playoffs I had to cancel a few recordings that were pre-empted. I was under the Impression that they would re-record since my Pass said record all and deleted boy was I wrong.

So if the guide Says it is Recording a 2 hour Movie and you go to watch it while recording but it is not the movie you want (Sporting Event) ... Are you ok Tying up that tuner recording crap and then delete it ... or cancel it and never have the movie you want to re-record.

If a pass says record all even deleted it should also record canceled/skipped.

Same issue if you want to skip an airing, but still record a later one.
There should be an Unskip option

I see your point there. I just Mark as Recorded so it thinks it already recorded it.
Of course there's no way to do that from the UI, have to use a curl command.

v2023.06.22.2210 FIXED: Some aired programs could be marked as skipped after cancelling a recording job in progress

Now cancelling an in-progress scheduled recording marks it as recorded instead of skipped.

So how do you re-record again without jumping through hoops... like Curl?

Mark as not recorded will let the pass reschedule it (pause and resume pass or wait until morning guide update)

Or choose Record Again to manually record the chosen airing

So how do I set the below to not recorded .... I looked everywhere .... It is not scheduled to air in the next 14 days so not in guide, but I want it to record when it does air. My pass is set to record all even deleted?

Depends on what the /dvr/programs entry for it says. recorded or skipped
If it shows as recorded with the fileid# (you were running v2023.06.22.2210 or higher when you cancelled it) then re-record deleted will work if you trashed/emptied trash.
If it shows as skipped (you were running an earlier version than v2023.06.22.2210), we're waiting for the devs to fix that, but the curl command would work.
You can either wait for it to appear in the guide, or use the curl command to Mark as not recorded.
