Cannot access remotely

Do you have an settings for NAT reflection ?

You have lost me there lol.

I have no idea what you mean lol. Ill have to do some research on this.

This is pfsense but it has different type of NAT options of how ports work in and out of your network.
Using this as just an example.

It's a shame pfsense hasn't kept their pf up-to-date with OBSD's, as NAT controls have gotten better in OpenBSD 7.0.

Ill have to do my research on this for sure. If I am understanding correctly this will send all traffic local and external through the public IP address then to the server address?

Seems like I might be misunderstanding his problem. I think he is saying he can’t reach the server at my.channelsdvr.net while on a remote connection. Support of hairpin nat doesn’t matter in this case. However you would be correct he would need hairpin router support if he was trying to reach my.channelsdvr from local. Can you clarify the actual problem?

I can reach the server locally however i cannot reach the server remotely/outside the network. I canno reach my.channelsdvr.net.

And when you are local do you reach the server with my.channelsdvr.net or 192.168.0.3.? Or will both of those connect you to the server?

my.channelsdvr.net will not, 192.168.0.3:8089 will.

Do you have the cable/router model. Maybe I can find something in the settings.

Then your router does Not support hairpin nat. But you should still be able to connect using my.channelsdvr.net remotely whether you router supports it or not. Did you change your router to a 192.168.0 to make way for your second router to use a 192.168.1 ? Or has it always been on .0?

ISP is TDS

Its default is .0

Is NAT enabled on your router?

Yeah

Have you restarted the router since port forwarding. How long has it been since you set this up. Some isp’s review all changes to the router before they will take effect. I know att does.

I've been working on this for roughly a week now, I have restarted the router/modem several different times. I set everything up like it is now and it has just been setting here for a few days, just decided to tackle it again tonight.

I think I am out of ideas. Nothing really seems to be setup wrong outside of not being able to access something locally with an external website back to internal. I guess you could always setup the modem/router in bridge mode and use another router. That is how I have my comcast modem/router setup. But that would be the last resort option in my mind. I just couldn't handle how bad it was to setup static ips on it. It would want me to save and restart the modem after each one. Said okay I am done with that and did the whole pfsense router thing. But that has 5000 billion settings too.... sometimes more isn't better.

Does the channels app work correctly when on a cellular connection on your iPhone?
