Channels Carbon Theme

So it seems I would need to figure out how to get ahold of the original .ipa, unzip it, poke around and see if I can even figure it out, put it back together, then jump through all those hoops to sign and install it.

I would be learly of old articles....many software's and "tricks" for old versions of MacOS most likely will not work on modern MacOS Big Sur or higher.
So u may need to use a older Mac with Catalina or older installed for such things to work.

Same issue with tvOS. The latest version, those "tricks" may not work anymore.
And the newest OS for both Apple Products is just around the corner as well.

Apple is always pushing updates that break such things and make random tricks, or hacks, or jailbreaking, more risky or not possible.

It sure would be a challenge it would seem.

This here is why I don't use any Apple, Samsung, or Amazon products.

Been a while since the last update. I think they've been adding new features to the beta since the last update. Thanks!

Here are these if anyone wants to make them gray, I'm ok with the way they are.

Thought this was a good read for you.

I use it. Much easier on the eyes than the purple. Thank you for your hard work.

I'm pretty sure this is the code for the logo at the top left. We should change it to a clock. 'We' meaning, I don't know what to change it to.

Yes, still using it.

Maybe this?

TextClock
android:id="@+id/textClock"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:format12Hour="hh:mm:ss a" /

I honestly wish I was smart enough to do this on my own and know how to hack a clock in. It is my family's number one request. If you can figure this out I will gladly buy you a beer!

Had been waiting for a new update, or to get this clock working, but decided to update. Longest I've seen a beta version stay in use.

Just installed this, really nice interface, much improved over the default purple. I hope you will continue with it.

One small suggestion, if possible, the clear playback bar can be hard to see on some screens such as CNN when it's directly over their news feed at the bottom of the screen. Maybe make it a solid color instead of clear?

Thanks for this hack, it's great.

I think our 5 users will be torn between that, making 2 versions necessary. If I were smart enough, I would have expanded what I was doing to include a toggle for that, and the clock wouldnt crash the app. Any new developments are limited by my expertise. I can make a non-transparent version just for you if youd like though.

I can't seem to find anyone with coding skills who is willing to give me some pointers, I'd love to get the clock working.

I did find some stuff that would indicate that they are working on a clock / have worked on a clock / didn't work on a clock and Android studio put a few files there with material clock stuff, it's hard for me to tell.

Naaa, thanks much, but don't make a version just for moi. It's really not that big a deal, I'm fine with it the way it is.

I mentioned your theme in the Tivo Community forums (despite it being a Tivo forum, there are lots of discussions of alternatives) so you may get a few more users soon.

I see what you mean about hard to read on news stations, I'll tinker around with making that text black instead or darken the transparency, try to improve it some. Thanks for the shout-out.
