When i try to cast my computer screen to my tv I just get a blue casting icon on my tv screen and nothing else.

that's odd, it was working when i first signed up for the service.

Casting is supported only through the web UI player.
What device are you casting to? Does casting recordings work?
Casting from my laptop .. the channels server is installed on it. I'm trying to cast to a Chromecast dongle on my tv

I'm having this same problem, trying to cast a recording from my Windows 10 PC via the web UI to my Chromecast Ultra. Here's a short video showing what happens:
Is there any talk of adding casting from the Android app? What's the preferred method for casting from web UI player?
