Works for me today.

Trying out the new beta for Channels DVR, and it looks like it does a great job setting the channel lineup correctly. Thanks for getting this done so quickly! I did notice one issue though, the Paramount network is pulling the eastern timezone guide data, but the feed is pacific everywhere. I didn’t notice any other discrepancies.

Good catch! Will fix.

I received the latest DVR update and now see the record button on the HD Homerun Premium TV channels (Demo). However, when I push to record it does not record. Is this because I have not yet subscribed to the Premium TV service or is this a Channels DVR capability still be worked on?

I imagine it’s because you haven’t subscribed, but I could be wrong. It works fine with my subscription to HDHomeRun Premium TV.

Ok thank you

The demo channels are only available for two minutes, so recording from them doesn’t make any sense. The DVR notices its a demo and refuses to record, so that’s why nothing is happening. We are still working on the integration, and we will likely hide the Record button altogether when looking at demo channels.

Where do you hold down the shift key?

OK thank you, that makes sense. I was only testing the app with the demo channels to make sure it worked before I decide to subscribe to the Premium TV service.

  1. Open the DVR settings web UI on your PC/NAS.
  2. Hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard and click the “Check for Updates” button
  3. Once the DVR updates to the new version, click on the circle refresh icon under your HDHR

on my pc. where do I put the curser? On the Fire tv app I see the dvr and permium tv

With the new DVR pre-release, I have gone through and set the channel favorites on the DVR web page under each tuner. When I open the AppleTV app I don’t see those favorites showing. Thought they respected the DVR tuner favorites, or is that a false memory. Been a long time since I setup originally. Are favorites in the AppleTV app only maintained in app?

On the main dvr settings web page, there is a check for update button.

I get this

Up to date!

Seeing something, but not sure if it’s just for USA or not…

On Now shows correctly that it’s Law & Order Special Victims Unit, but the Guide shows Modern Family with Law & Order starting in 15 minutes.

Downloaded the pre release and looks good, although History Channel guide seems to be in Spanish. Scheduled a bunch of stuff and will see how it goes. Love Channels!

Just noticed that also. History is Spanish in the guide.

Seeing the following when I try to record a second stream: - Have 3 HDHRHomeRun Extends, so 6 tuners, according the HDHomeRun, we should have up to 4 streams available with the Premium TV Service. Only 2 are in use.
