Confused about watching FOX News via Sling

Hi,

Confused about watching Fox News channel on channels.

I added my sling blue subscription as a source to channels. I used your availability checker and it indicates that Fox News is available to watch. The checker linked me to: https://www.fox.com/live/channel/FNC/
and I successfully logged on using my sling credentials to watch Fox News.

But after scanning my sling channels, I get the following channels error during the scan for Fox News:

notAuthorized: You do not have full subscriptions to view the requested content. Please upgrade your programming then log back in to view content.

What am I doing wrong?

That's strange.
If I click the Watch TV button (upper right) at this site it doesn't list Sling as a provider for access.

I'm trying out Sling Blue right now. Fox News is working with Channels.

My TVE troubleshooting is two step.
#1 Update your Channels DVR Server to the latest pre-release version
#2 Rescan the channels and remove/re-add the source if that doesn't work

I have tried both those options and still can't get it to show up I'm running the latest pre-release,
2021.05.21.0113. I can watch it on the sling app, so I know I have sling blue... not to mention that's what they show me as signed up for.

When rescanning the network it shows as "not authorized".

Did you try deleting and re-adding your Sling-TVE source?

I can log into FNC by using https://www.fox.com/live/channel/FNC/ and I can watch it online.

It shows up as a watchable/recordable channel in your channels guide?

Don't know if this will do anything for you having issues, but I remembered I had to do this on my NAS's and pull an updated Docker image for my Docker TVE. May be worth a try.

Yes. It showed up when I first added Sling as a source. I did have to rescan a couple channels like NBCSN, but did not have that problem with FoxNews. Shows up as channel 6073.

thanks for reply, hmmm... ill try rescanning again, but to confirm, do you have only sling blue with no other upgrades? i have blue with biz channels upgrade (to get fox business)

Please upgrade to prerelease and try again. If it's not working it's likely due to a bug on our side. It's not clear why it works fine for some people.

Sling has proven to be the most challenging to support because of the various packages and addons.

Hmm, that makes it a little stranger: I only have Blue and I'm getting Fox Business, too, in Channels

I'm currently running prerelease version 2021.05.21.0113

I'm still getting no authorization.

Besides the free channels, these are the only ones I'm getting.
